About Sound Solutions

Sound Solutions was formed over 10 years ago, as the music scene around Calderdale thrived & changed.

As bands got together, jammed, left & formed new bands, a great friendship was formed between Mark Taylor, & Phil Smith. Who soon realized what was missing.

We had the bands, the talent & the venues, but very few had the technology.

Mark, himself from a musical background, had been playing with local musicians for a number of years, before going on to Huddersfield & studying the finer points of music, mixing, & in laymen’s terms "What all these knobs do!"

Phil, who would love to be musical, has the passion, but not the rhythm, studied from the university of life! Where he has passed with flying colour’s, although he's as happy stage managing, & event controlling, as he is behind the desk.

A decade down the line, & most venues & bands have their own P.A's, which is when we took the decision to expand our horizons.

Here at Sounds Solutions, we offer a professional attitude towards, the performer, the event organizer, & the paying public.

We offer a range of services, from your average 1000-watt pub type P.A, Up-to 20000-watt outdoor festival rigs.
